It is still under warranty so i took it back to where i purchased it and they replaced the oil pressure switch; Testing with a known good pressure gauge should. If the pressure varies (drops) at engine idle, perhaps your pressure bypass is defective, or perhaps the oil pump is worn.
Note That Some Older Cars Might Not Have A Dedicated Oil Pressure Light, And This Problem Might Pop Up As A Check Engine Light In Those Cases.
Be certain the oil level is up to normal, then check the actual oil pressure with a test gauge. Have replaced oil pump, oil censor. It is moving back and forth very quickly, but not the entire range of the gauge.

Locate the oil pressure sending unit on the engine (the parts store can sometimes tell you where it is), remove it and follow the instructions that come with your universal oil pressure gauge to hook it up. While driving the oil pressure gauge drops suddenly and the check gauges light illuminates.
